  6. This is the Memories Echo. It is a non-region specific conference
  7. dedicated to all persons interested in nostalgia and trivia.
  8.  
  9. This echo is open to everyone who complies with the following
  10. rules:

  12. The conference is moderated by Kent Anderson, Fidonet 1:382/1201,
  13. and is a Fidonet Backbone Echo, and, as such, adheres to Fidonet
  14. regulations for echoes.
  15.  
  16. 1. Topics may be broad, but not stray too far from the purpose of
  17. the echo and that is to share germane conversation with those
  18. having a common interest in things past.
  19.  
  20. 2. Avoid excessive quoting. It costs money to send messages, but
  21. do quote enough so others know what you are referring to.
  22.  
  23. 3. DON'T get personal! Personal attacks (Flames) and profanity are
  24. unnecessary and unwelcome in this echo.
  25.  
  26. 4. Preseent day religion and politics, NO!
  27.  
  28. 5. Only the Moderator will address off-topic traffic.
  29.  
  30. 6. NO private messages.
  31.  
  32. 7. Handles or aliases allowed if part of your BBSing with the
  33. addition of your real name at end of message.
  34.  
  35. 8. Extended characters (often referred to as "High ASCII") will not
  36. be permitted in headers, origin lines, signatures, nor to create
  37. "cutesy" quote boxes. NEVER use visible low end ASCII characters
  38. (1 through 31) ANYWHERE in a Fidonet message.*

  40. 9. No test messages, advertisments of any kind (including BBS ads)
  41. allowed.

  43. 10. This conference may not be ported to the BIX echomail system,
  44. Compuserve or to any other network's mail system without the
  45. express written permission of the Moderator.
